Keynote Presentation in São Paulo, Brazil
I was honored to be invited to speak for a second time as a keynote speaker at the HDI Brazil 2014 annual conference and expo. The topics I spoke on were Organizational Change, Shared Services Case Study, and an International Panel on IT as a Relevant Driver of A Strategic Plan of a Company.
Our trip began with a week of relaxation in Rio. The beaches, culture, food, and nightlife were fun and entertaining. I was able to go to a fútbol match, celebrate with friends on a rooftop bar looking over the famous beach of Ipanema.
I was also able to meet one of my students who I’ve been working with for years, teaching virtual IT Service Management classes. Edu was a pleasant surprise to a trip full of amazing memories. What a beautiful trip, country, culture, and people.
Understanding and Mastering Organizational Change – What is In It for You? (Keynote)
All companies go through change. But how we manage change is important. What are the basic concepts of organizational change? How can you work with the organization to be successful? What are the signs that you are avoiding change? Learn how to be the master of change, by leading by example and helping to create effective change in your organization.
Take service to the next level! Is your organization considering implementing a shared services unit that combines common business and IT services into a one-stop shop? This session provided an overview of the service industry and shared services best practices with a full roadmap for identifying the structure, staffing, services, roles and responsibilities, and processes required to build and sustain a shared services unit, as well as an implementation plan.
